Following procedure is now decided, based on the suggestions and detailed discussions at KTC & NTC, on the background of the directives given by Hon. ED (HR).
Resource material (Collected material in its original form only) for the content development in each Functional Area should be collected with all out efforts. This material may comprise of BHEL manuals, Original Manufacturer's Manuals, Mahagenco's developed manuals at various Power Stations, as are existing for 210MW LMW & CSTPS 500 MW, or any other useful relevant material, without violation of copyrights.
The collected material should be forwarded to KTC by E-Mail immediately, as soon as a part of it is collected. KTC is compiling the material for making it ready to be accessed through software.
This content will be made available to the Power Plant Engineers and staff on their computers through the local LAN. Facility through suitable software will be provided to access the part of the content to as much finer extent as possible.
The material of the content should therefore be divided in suitable parts, with a limit of about 4-5 MB and also based on the focus of the topic.
Literature prepared by engineers including presentations on different topics as decided by FOST teams previously should also be sent to KTC. The same will be included in the Knowledge Bank on priority after screening by authorized committee.
FOST members should start the exercise of developing Question Banks on priority with involvement of all experienced engineers in coordination with TSC members. The Question Banks will be scrutinized by authorized committee members of the Functional Areas.
